The year 2019 was truly exceptional for our event agency, full of records and mega events. Apart from the sports events, it was Family Day with the largest number of participants, over 3,300, but also 4 language team building for participants from 4 countries, with over 400 people. And to make matters worse, we ended this year with the biggest Christmas party we have ever organized. As we said, this year the legendary records were broken 🌪 For all of this we are clearly grateful to our clients, whom, if they are reading us, we warmly greet. 🙌
But let’s get to the point and back to the past – let´s talk about 2 smaller events, if 200-250 people can be considered a smaller event 😉 merged into one and became 💥a huge one. We weren’t scared, on the contrary 🤩 As part of our search for suitable locations to hold an event of this size, we unfortunately came across a small selection of options… Namely, you can count the spaces that can accommodate such several guests on the fingers of two hands 😕 Luckily, a few years ago, an exceptional resort had been built near Bratislava. In addition, the resort was not afraid of challenges just like us – X-Bionic Sphere 🙌💪
On D-day, half of the guests travelled to the venue individually, but for the other half, we provided a shuttle bus service, which we sent from Bratislava to Šamorín and operated in the return direction throughout the night at hourly intervals. We were mainly worried about the pickup during the Bratislava rush hour, but everything went according to plan 🤞
After a quick accreditation, our guests, who took the Black&White theme of the evening absolutely responsibly, filled the main hall to the last seat to listen to the speech of the company’s executive director, who thanked his colleagues for the achieved results and ceremonially started the entire evening. Right after that, everyone could “pounce” on extremely tasty and varied catering, desserts, drinks tables with good beer and quality wine. After a hearty snack, it was finally time to release the load of great music 💣
This year, the two-time winners of the most prestigious Beatles revival competition in the world – The Backwards, got the opportunity and played their performance full of oldies hits. The dance floor began to fill up with dancing guests, and the over an hour-long performance filled it to the last seat. The biggest hits were sung by the audience together with the band 🎶🎵❤️ A midnight auction followed, the proceeds of which went to the Tesco Anjel Foundation, which selflessly helps employees in material need. Marek Hamšík’s national football jersey and an electric bike were auctioned off and very nice sums were collected, which will definitely help where they are needed 💓 The DJ didn’t let people off the floor until the end of the event. Of course, we will keep the details of the ending to ourselves, but there is a legend…if the music did not turn off, the group would probably dance even at lunch 😉☺️
