The stories how much we like the themed teambuildings were many times mentioned within our articles and references. And it won’t be a coincidence 🙂 We prepared one of the other successful ones in mid-September at the Gothal resort in Liptovská Osada. From the varied range of thematic programs, this time the great RETRO was chosen. 😈
After the arrival of the buses with the guests, a quality liquid welcome, connected with check-in and a buffet lunch, could not be missed. Subsequently, an effective internal meeting began and after an hour we were able to fully launch team building activities, which we “pimped out” as much as possible this time as well. The competition program itself was divided into two main parts – joint group activities and competition stations. 🧨
It was in the first joint part that we primarily got moving with spoon-fork-knife and refreshed our skills with activities from physical education classes. Timeless classics such as bag jump, and spoon slalom were also prepared. We tested our constructing skills in the airplane throwing competition, and an unforgettable competition was the joint male-female hula-hoop competition. The last point of the first part was the chair dance, which everyone of us surely remembers from the days of discos in elementary school, and we had a great time here too.
Due to the time slippage, we managed only half of the original portion of eight stations in the end. The teams gradually tried to grind coffee by hand, had to coordinate themselves while jumping on a maxi rope, tried working with a wheelbarrow under difficult conditions, but we also tested their grammatical (but also technical) skills during a typewriter duel. After a fair number of activities, we evaluated the most successful teams and left some free space to try out various prepared props, air rifle shooting or grenade throwing. This was followed by an already fragrant dinner and, of course, unrestrained evening entertainment until the wee hours of the morning. 🥂
This event was definitely one of the unforgettable ones for us, where in addition to the activities, the program and the great mood, costumes, music, wigs and wonderful retro props played an important role. We thank the client for the trust in organizing the teambuilding and we look forward to many, many more! 🙂
