We waited a really long time before we managed to implement this absolutely unique team building program. But everything has its time and we knew we had to wait for the right time and team ✌️🤩 But after a graduation we have to honestly admit – bike teambuilding in Štiavnické vrchy (on e-bikes) is a blast 🚵🏻♀️🚵🏻♂️
We provided complete care for the participants with a tailor-made program – including accommodation, food and rental of e-bikes. We had over 30 e-bikes at our disposal, so that there was enough frame sizes for women and men to choose from, and possibly something extras.
The whole group was accommodated in beautiful wooden houses in the new resort on Richňavské tajchy, where they travelled by their own transport. Each member of the expedition received a basic refreshment package, and after settling in, we rushed to choose bicycles, including the necessary instruction on their use. Every e-bike was insured, everyone got a mandatory helmet and tourist insurance was also recommended. After a short test of our trainers and fine-tuning of technical details, we divided the team into 3 performance groups. Subsequently, each with their own instructor set out to discover the unique Štiavnice cycle routes. A service team was also available, which had spare e-bikes and a safety car available for any technical problems, which thankfully did not occur 🤞
The whole hike was built very undemandingly. As far as possible, with as few elevations as possible, and almost the entire route led along mining ditches. We had numerous stops on the route, where we showed the participants the beauty of the Štiavnice Hills and explained the history of the Štiavnice Taichs. We stood at many beautiful views over Banská Štiavnica, which you cannot easily reach on your own. About halfway through the route (after about 15 kilometres), we all had lunch and rested in the guesthouse, which was opened only for us on this day! 🥰 There was an excellent menu to choose from for carnivores, but also for vegetarians 👌
The second part of the ride of approximately the same length, was already optional and after a shorter section it was possible to disconnect and go to the accommodation to relax. However, the vast majority made full use of their e-bikes and made the entire planned route with us, at the end of which many took the opportunity to bathe in the cleansing water of the local mining related lake, where there was not even a foot ☺️💦
Muddy, but happy and above all without serious injuries, we all met after completing the bike teambuilding in the resort’s congress hall, where a rich barbecue was prepared and the free fun continued until late at night.
We have successfully passed the harsh test, and we are looking forward to when another active collective will use the unique teambuilding program 💪
