A year has gone by, and once again, we took on a challenge classified as a “Very Important”. Three days of preparation, unpredictable weather, and a sharp start from minute one — all of it came together to create a one-of-a-kind event: The Tesco Festival, enjoyed by more than 3,000 participants.
The venue, as large as a mid-sized festival, featured dozens of attractions, activities under the roofs of the festival tents and sports competitions — the perfect setting to welcome employees and their families from all parts of Slovakia. Even the arrival itself was an adventure: parking more than 55 buses, hundreds of cars, and managing express accreditation for thousands of guests tested our organisational team right from the start of the day.

Then the all-day program kicked off: football and badminton tournaments, a culinary team match, a creativity contest, and dozens of side activities for all age groups. From the youngest children to teenagers, parents, and grandparents — surely everyone found something for themselves.
The festival atmosphere was enhanced by all the partner stands with tastings, mascots, swimming, and themed decorations. The stage hosted performances throughout the 8-hour program, featuring well-known faces such as host Juraj Tabaček, Master Chef Martin Novák, and headliner Kuly from Desmod. The discussion tent offered inspiring talks, and the entire event pulsed with energy and joy.
Organising an event of this scale means thinking about a thousand and one details — from catering and safety to the smooth flow of every single element. Our goal is always the same: build everything the day before, be perfectly prepared on the day of the event, and disappear the next day as if we were never there — leaving behind only the beautiful memories of our guests.
Tesco Family Day became an unforgettable festival of experiences, and we’re proud to have brought it to life once again.
