This year’s football season was really special for Sports Club Slovan. Of course, the prim played to advance from the group stage of the European League to the round of 16, which no other team in the modern history of Slovakia has managed to do. But who else but Slovan should be a pioneer and a role model for other Slovak teams in this field? At the same time, the club fought until the last moments for a triumph in the Slovak Cup and, finally, in the league, which was a stepping stone to the new phase of European competitions. ⚽️

This year, the league was exceptional, and its winner was decided only in the penultimate round, which did not happen for a long time. The gradation was obvious, the 5th championship title in a row was finally noticed especially by the fans and we also noticed it in detail. 😅 The request to organise an event to celebrate the title came just a couple of days before the match itself. But of course, we did not hesitate to organise the Championship celebrations at Tehelné pole. 🏟

Although we know the environment intimately, it was not an easy task at all due to the short amount of time. Championship celebrations “with everything” which meant a pre-match fan zone with activities and a program on the stage, coordination of activities on the playing field followed by a golden nail in the form of organized post-match celebrations with fans on the square in front of the stadium. Summarized and underlined, we make even impossible and immediately. 😊 Everything with flexible timing and implementation within a few days. And if you think that the budget was like from the time of HZDS, then you are very mistaken. 💸

We will not burden you with preparatory work, we will go straight to the production part. Fans started coming into the square in front of the stadium an hour before the official start of the pre-match program. Championship balloons were distributed, club logos were painted on the face and photos were taken with the championship trophy. A novelty was an alley of food trucks, which ideally helped to meet the increased demand for food and drinks. Children’s activities such as Futbox arena, interactive Multiball wall, Subsoccer and many others were also busy. Basically, everything that was available was under absolute siege by supporters in dressed in sky-blue colours. For example, 1,000 branded balloons were distributed within the first hour of the fan zone. In parallel, a two-and-a-half-hour program ran on stage, led by the moderator Tomaggio, who suitably entertained with various competitions, in which he humorously involved the children and adult audience. 🤟

The square was full, people were excited, they were going to the stadium. On the playing field, we coordinated activities before and during the game, such as dance performances by the cheerleaders, the ceremonial walk-out of the players, the half-time program or images on the LED screens. The ceremonial handing over of the championship trophy was in the hands of the league agency Sevent and the security service, but it must be said that this time, even considering the emotions in the stadium, it was performed brilliantly. And this despite the planned, but untimed “rush” of fans onto the playing field 😃 But this is exactly how celebrations should be, and this is how the joy of winning the title should look like. 🏆💪 watch it yourself within this 50-seconds long video… ⤵️
