If you asked us to describe the DHL company congress, which we directed in the conference hall of Hotel pod Lipou, in just two words, we would choose EXTRAORDINARY and DYNAMIC. DHL, as the client, set out to organise a meeting for its employees that would creatively upgrade the sometimes lengthy and tiring conference setup and, on the contrary, bring interaction, spark, and fun to the team. Nothing makes us happier than the chance to create something new, fresh, and—above all—to pleasantly surprise our client. That is why preparing this exceptional event was just as remarkable.
Since the company regularly organises similar gatherings in a more formal and standard format, our goal was to skip the features that hadn’t proven effective at previous events—or those that, after years, needed a light refresh. To break away from the classic congress setup and schedule, we prepared elements that kept participants engaged with the program, avoided fatigue, captured attention visually, and at the same time fulfilled the meeting’s purpose: to discuss, motivate, and share knowledge. The cornerstone of the change was shorter speaker segments using a single slide with key information, effectively projected on an LED screen. After each presentation and discussion, these were alternated with themed quiz questions, where participants competed until the evening, when the most successful contestant was announced. The smooth running of the event was ensured by a professional production team with assistants, and the prepared telebridge made it easy to connect colleagues in the hall with colleagues abroad.

For those who found a full day of sitting demanding, relaxation corners were available, offering anti-stress colouring books, puzzles, and games for unwinding. It must be noted, however, that the speakers and moderator truly excelled in their roles, shaping their contributions so that participants could engage, interact with one another, and—alongside serious topics—find space for fun and networking. Needless to say, the right energy level and opportunities for conversation over food and drinks were supported by high-quality hotel catering and regular breaks for delicious coffee and desserts.
Visually, we enhanced the atmosphere with special light effects throughout the hall, as well as modern and stylish LED posters and a moving light simulation of the logo. The space was further enriched by a particularly popular photo wall featuring all attendees, who could then take their pictures home as a gift. After dinner, the congress transitioned into a less formal party, where the focus shifted from speakers to a DJ. A short awards ceremony, plenty of movement, a mini colleague-recognition contest, great music, and the chance to try out the services of a digital caricaturist guaranteed entertainment until the early hours.
Not only did the participants learn plenty of interesting information at the congress, but we admit that the speaker contributions were enriching for us as well—we enjoyed them beyond the production aspect. In any case, we will be more than happy to take on a similar request again in the future.
