Another legendary folklore-themed teambuilding could not happen anywhere else but in Liptov Region. We have prepared a selection of the best folk activities for 120 participants, this time in the brand-new Maladinovo resort. Bordering Liptovská Mara on one side and a beautiful view of the panorama of Western Tatras on the other. The client prepared a two-day long programme here for employees with an overnight stay, an all-day thematic program, traditional appreciation of the best establishments and evening entertainment with an open bar.
But it’s fine. We arrived at the place a day in advance to avoid the various surprises that may await the agency at the new location in the region, and we certainly did well. Together with the representatives of the resort, we fine-tuned several small and large details that are very important when organizing a corporate event, so that everything is tip-top during the arrival of the guests. The classic evening preparation in the form of pre-event packing followed, and then we all eagerly awaited the arrival time.
In the morning, we decorated and built the venue and when the time came for the arrival of the guests, everything was ready. The accreditation ran with no problem, the catering and refreshments smelled good, and we looked away from the clouds that fortunately avoided us throughout the day. We couldn’t start otherwise than with a speech, and after that, we were already divided into teams so we could jump into the team-building folklore program.
During it, there was no shortage of classics such as hat dancing to the sounds of live folk music, and hammering nails, but also complete innovations such as guessing the regions. We also enjoyed a dance performance by folklorists, a Slovak krémeš and also participated in our favourite quizzes, which are constants in our group activities and know how to engage the entire team. After a short lunch break, which suited everyone, we started the second half of the folklore program. In it, the individual teams rotated around the entire area of the resort, and with the generous help of animators in costumes, the second half of the popular event took place.
We know that the participants thoroughly enjoyed it thanks to the A-rated feedback from the client, and how could it be otherwise, when they could try, among other things, the ancient churning of butter or throwing a stick? They did not avoid the construction of the cabin, Jánošík’s bridge or Cinderella’s activities. In addition to the competitive activities of the teams, we also enriched the program with folk workshops. And we made a good choice, because the interpretation of the thread pulling of the Zázrivá cheese maker was very important to everyone, and the pottery circles of the craft master were also spinning in silence.
After the participants ran around all the activities, the evaluation of the most successful operations of the client followed. Prizes were handed out and then a great dinner and free evening entertainment awaited us, which we already let run freely. It was another well-spent day filled with team spirit, and we are already looking forward to further joint events.
