Without pressure, we admit that January is not the strongest month in the event world. After all, it is already after the season of Christmas parties, and after the holiday season, the work deployment starts only gradually. Overall, we probably all feel that the beginning of the year tends to be a bit slower, sometimes rather free… But of course, the exception proves the rule! 😌
At the end of January, we introduced a new tradition with our long-time favourite client in the form of a New Year’s party. There are several advantages over a classic corporate party at Christmas time…
- almost unlimited term options
- better negotiating position (possibility of discounts, etc.)
- lower level of “corporate stress” associated with the end of the year
- availability of suppliers, artists, performers or various outsiders
Of course. someone may perceive the missing charm of the Christmas atmosphere as a negative, but every solution has its pros and cons. But let’s get closer to our historically first New Year’s party. In the spaces of the modern X-Bionic Sphere resort, the first guests started to check in already in the afternoon. The program itself officially started at seven o’clock with the accreditation by our charming hostesses and the gradual arrival of all the guests. They came both individually and in specially arranged buses directly from the Bratislava Head Office.
The first point of the party was the ceremonial speech and the official opening, followed by a delicious buffet dinner. While waiting for the main musical point of the New Year’s party, the guests could take their time for a photo shoot in a thematic photo booth, contribute to the client’s internal charity program, or just freely enjoy a pleasant informal time with colleagues. At nine, however, the headliner of the evening – the band Polemic – started on stage. They kicked it off in style, filling the dance floor within a second and making the entire audience dance. 💃🏻🕺🏻
Since the theme of the party was also the celebration of the new year 2024, the midnight countdown could not be missed, and after that, there was only undisturbed free fun until the early hours of the morning. It was a great event, the guests left satisfied – that means we left satisfied as well. We are already looking forward to the New Year’s party 2025! 🎇🥳
