The ceremonial moment in the form of the opening of new company premises is always an important milestone in the history of every company. Even more so in the case of the opening of a new logistics centre, especially when it comes to a really large facility 🙂 Therefore, we are glad that in the case of the ceremonial opening of the distribution centre for the Dutch company Action, we were approached to cooperate in the preparation of this unique event.
In contrast to traditional events and projects, the preparation of the entire organisation of the festive day was more demanding in the form of observing strict rules during the preparation (but also during the course) of the program. This means not only completing safety training but also entering the spaces only in special shoes or in a reflective vest. Of course, it wasn’t anything we couldn’t deal with 🙂
As part of the program, we started with the early arrival of the “godfathers”, who completed the ceremonial cutting of the red ribbon associated with the photo shoot. From ten o’clock, the official program was already underway, which was fast-paced, but at the same time pleasant and attractive. Upon arrival, guests were greeted with traditional accreditation and light refreshments. The opening point of the program on the stage was a folklore performance of the ensemble, which was followed by speeches from individual speakers, and representatives of the client and partner companies. The final act of the opening was the presentation of an artistic representation of the logistics centre itself and its location to the artists present, supported by a huge volley of confetti.
This official part was followed by delicious catering and for those interested, a tour of the brand-new warehouse. Of course, with compliance with all safety rules. At the farewell, the guests received a thank-you package, but our activities did not end there, as tasty and rich refreshments were also prepared in the canteen for the employees from the next shift.
We thank our newest client for a very pleasant cooperation, we are keeping our fingers crossed for the next operation and we believe that our working paths will cross in other opportunities as well 🙂
