Our small agency team has been part of the Grape Festival since 2017!
That was the year we first created and brought to life the concept of a sports zone at one of Slovakia’s biggest festivals. We don’t need to explain that sports create a broader interest in our work and creative focus — but let’s say that the Grape Sports Zone is truly special. Not only because of its unique production and set-up, but also because of its special place in our hearts ❤️.
The 2025 edition was even more special, as this year’s festival theme was ALL ABOUT THE SPORTS. What did that mean for us? In addition to higher demands for precision and top-quality execution of all activities and sports areas, our scope of work has expanded significantly.
Let’s take it step by step — the event wouldn’t be complete without the absolute classics like “Hobby horse trail” (Veľká Piešťanská Steeplechase), a fully stocked sports rental zone, and, of course, preparation of playgrounds for football, badminton, pétanque, table tennis, and street workout.
But what truly made this year unforgettable was the creation of a one-of-a-kind sports arena with a seating capacity of several hundred people. We were there from the very beginning of its design — and it turned out not only to be a great architectural achievement and a striking eye-catcher at the festival entrance, but also the stage for many unforgettable moments in a truly unique program.
The festival kicked off with a grand opening ceremony— featuring an energetic choreography, the lighting of the Olympic flame, and the festival mascot Trenko, all under our supervision. The program continued with the first of three tournaments — a floorball competition that ran into the evening, followed by a stylish Spartakiad and a roller disco night. 🛼🪩
The second festival day was packed from morning to night. Things started bright and early at 9:00 a.m. with a dodgeball tournament — which, to be honest, we added to the Saturday morning schedule with some understandable hesitation…but the turnout was so huge that we had to multiply the tournament capacity! The atmosphere was undoubtedly fantastic!
Next up were the Olympic Challenges, featuring some of Slovakia’s top Olympians — Pavol Regenda, Zuzana Rehák-Štefečeková, Danka Hrbeková (Barteková), and Matej Tóth — who faced off in fun, unconventional disciplines. An autograph session followed, and then came the football tournament, which met the highest possible “festival quality” standards.
To wrap up the day, the arena transformed once again for a roller disco party that lasted until midnight — and it stayed packed to the very last song.
To conclude, Grape 2025 was truly unforgettable, and we’re already looking forward to more memories, challenges, and experiences in the future. 🙂
