For our new client, who is a leader in the IT industry, we were given the opportunity to organize a unique team building – Traditional Slovak Meat-Feast 🐖 in the picturesque environment of traditional Slovak lace and fairy-tale wooden cottages with ornaments, which were registered in the UNESCO, in Čičmany. Girls in traditional costumes and handsome young men, but also the beautiful surrounding nature and traditional folk customs. Simply folklore literally everywhere 🎻
On the first day, after welcoming and accommodating all participants and a tasty lunch, we had our already traditional sports-animation program with activities that should be included in every quality team building – FUN Olympics. For our clients, divided into 4 competitive teams, we prepared more than 10 fun disciplines, which, judging by the immediate reactions of all participants, were successful despite the changeable weather 😉
The evening program was for the most part individual, so that everyone ruled during the main course of the team building program – the traditional butchery and the production of meat specialties, which took place the next day from early morning. From the first morning rays of the sun, the day was marked by the arrival of cheerful local butchers, whom we helped to make the whole procedure of killing the piglet last as short and as painless as possible, and the piglet did not suffer or even be afraid.
Classic procedures followed, during which the participants helped in the production of blood sausages, liver sausages, sausages, crackers and other traditional meat-feast delicacies, and home-made alcohol was certainly not missing 😉
The afternoon program was diversified by traditional activities of peasants in the countryside, such as pitching a pitchfork into the hay, a deer handling workshop, whipping and many other specialties. The most active ones even treated themselves to a run up Javorinka hill. Subsequently, the local folklore music band took over the evening entertainment which led to a whole-night fun and dancing… In addition to classic Slovak folk hits, they also played this year’s popular hit Despacito and thus ended 2 days full of activities and fun 👏 We believe that we succeeded in the client’s ideas filled to the brim and many more joint events await us 😊
